Overview

Overview is a house music EP by Velz inspired by the Overview Effect—the change in perspective associated with seeing Earth from orbit. The release moves from soulful amapiano grooves on Ekhaya Rhythm to the driving instrumental house of Orbital Path.

The Ascent and The Shift form a two-part lyrical finale, bringing the journey back to perspective and our place on a pale blue dot. Across house, deep house and amapiano, the EP uses rhythm and storytelling to connect an Earth-to-orbit concept with the dance floor. Music by Velz, released through MusicEPs.
